The business-specific assignment
Reconstruct public prior disclosure for issuer-led drafting. Mark limitations and require management approval before any reuse in a new reporting cycle.
Your coordinator: Company reporting coordinators and appointed advisers.
The source context may include approved short documents, exhibits and drafting copies.
Illustrative production scenario
An editable prior filing is not a current approved disclosure or the original Word document.
This is an example of the control to test, not a measured client result or an accepted filing. Ask the named reviewer to define success before production starts.
Inputs and outputs
Provide these inputs:
- Public filing or approved HTML and referenced assets
- Sections to reconstruct and Word style preferences
- Instructions for links, pagination and drafting notes
A scoped handoff can contain:
- Editable Word with reconstructed tables and styles
- Text and number reconciliation summary
- Layout limitations and unresolved reconstruction notes
Review focus
- Work from a preserved copy, not the original filing.
- Remove filing-specific wrappers only in the drafting copy.
- Compare notes, headings and tables against the original rendered disclosure.
The issuer’s counsel, accountants and authorized filing personnel retain final review and submission.
What is outside this assignment
Original formulas, exact pagination, edit history and original authoring files cannot be guaranteed.
Direct-issuer work is a later-stage lane subject to readiness, references and review arrangements.
Plan the handoff
Agree source freeze, version naming, one instruction stream, correction allowance and escalation contact. Confidential materials belong only in the separately approved transfer route.
